SmartStop Vending was founded in 2025 by Ellen Roach, a 57-year-old entrepreneur who found a new passion in creating accessible, convenient, and innovative vending solutions for her community. Ellen's passion for community-centered innovation pairs with her husband Bill's expertise in sales and marketing, forming the foundation of SmartStop's success. Together, they're building a business that's as much about people as it is about progress.
Our Mission and Vision
Our mission is to deliver smarter vending that serves both everyday needs and special circumstances - whether it's a refreshing drink at a tire shop, healthy snacks for hospital staff, or essentials like medicine, hygiene products, or household goods in apartments and underserved areas. Our vision is to grow into a Mobile AI Vending Unit - traveling mini stores that can bring food, beverages, and daily necessities directly to where people need them the most.
